My Mother My mother is my hero, my inspiration, my everything. The first reason this is so is because she was a very strong, independent person. She had a real tough childhood growing up, and overcame many obstacles, but always came through and succeeded. Another reason she is my hero, is because she sacrifised everything for her family, especially for her children. My mother struggled raising our family, as a single mother working two jobs, and giving up her own life for us. Finally, there came a time in her life at age 50 she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Out of all the times she had sickness, treatments, problems, and surgeries, she still stayed positive and strong through it all. These are the reasons why I believe my mother is my hero.
